The Representatives of Civil Society in Cuando Cubango province has appealed to the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, to repair the construction and maintenance of roads to interconnect the different municipalities. Reverend of the United Methodist Church, Jacinta Esperança, has requested that access routes, electricity and water supply should be supplied to the population. The Bishop of the Diocese of Menongue, Dom Leopoldo Ndakalako, also appealed for attention to the means of communication in the fight against poverty and encouraged Lourenço to implement actions so that the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM) improves. The representative of the Provincial Youth Council, Miguel Tchissingue Américo, has expressed his concerns over the unemployment rate and housing projects to be implemented.
