The Minister of State and Head of the Civil House of the President, Adao Francisco Correia de Almeida, and the Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas, have signed an agreement to establish a commission for cooperation. This comes after Almeida held an official visit to Cuba on Wednesday, 02 March 2022. During a ceremony, the Cuban Foreign Trade and Investment Minister Rodrigo Malmierca noted that Almeida held visits to several sites and held work exchanges that have allowed the countries to affirm opportunities to strengthen collaboration. The official ceremony also included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Foreign Investment and Export Promotion Agency, Aipex, and its counterpart on the island, ProCuba.
