The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Nikolaos Dendias, has announced the Government’s intention to cooperate with Angola in the sectors of commerce, tourism, agriculture, industry and technologies and innovation. This follows after Dendias held a meeting with President João Lourenço, with whom he discussed the strengthening and perspectives of cooperation between the two countries. Dendias also expressed the intention of the Greek Government to cooperate with the Angolan Executive in the field of maritime security. Dendias has stated that Greece will be willing to train Angolan Navy cadets in its naval academies.
