The National Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC) has prohibited the movement of drones in particular areas in the country to ensure operational safety, prevent acts of unlawful interference and protect people and property on land. The ANAC has stated that the activity of drones should be prohibited from any Presidential office, urban infrastructure, state reserves, police stations, military zones, schools, hospitals, churches and national parks unless authorization had been granted. The ANAC sensitizes the owners and users of the air assets in order to refrain from using them in illicit activities. Furthermore, drones are prohibited between 18H00 and 05H30, and without authorization, constitutes a violation of the Angolan Air Safety Regulations.
