Angola is scheduled to host the ninth meeting of ministers of Science, Technology and Higher Education of the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CPLP) from 17 to 19 January 2021. This follows after a press release from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation of Angola indicated that the event is expected to assess the degree of implementation of the Strategic Plan for Multilateral Cooperation for the period 2014 and 2020, as well as approve a new political agenda for up to 2026. Project and program proposals for multilateral intra-community and extra-community cooperation in the field of Science, Technology and Higher Education of the CPLP and cooperation between this community and international organisations as well as civil society are expected to be analysed.
