The Army Spokesperson in Ituri, Lieutenant Jules Ngongo, has announced that seven alleged Cooperative Development Group of Congo (CODECO) militiamen had been captured during an offensive operation in the territories of Djugu and Mahagi. Ngongo has stated that the militiamen had been captured in the Wada village, while several others had been neutralized. During the operation, several weapons were seized. The militiamen had been presented before the Governor of the Ituri province, Johnny Luboya Nkashama, in Bunia.
