The Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC) has neutralized a suspected member of the Cooperative for Development of the Congo (CODECO) militia on Wednesday, 02 March 2022, at the Sinziri mining site, in the territory of Djugu. The FARDC has also recovered a weapon following the operation. During the exchange of fire between the CODECO militia and the Congolese armed forces, the population informed security operatives to assist the attack.
