The Ugandan Embassy in Kinshasa and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Government are expected to host a joint Business Forum between 22 March 2022 and 24 March 2022. The Forum aims to establish essential principles to strengthen and maintain bilateral trade between Kampala and the DRC. The Join Business Forum is expected to present opportunities for increased collaboration between the DRC and Uganda, with presentations and panel sessions that will include the Ugandan private and public sector organisations trading with DRC’s developing sectors. The Forum is also set to promote trade between the two countries by disseminating information on improved trade facilitation, enhanced trade in goods and services, and investment opportunities.
