The Civil Society group in southern Lubero has announced the presence of internally displaced persons (IDP) following the presence of militiamen members of the Nduma Defense of Congo (NDC) militia group in Guidon and Popular Patriotic Forces-People’s Army (FPP-AP) in Kabido. This follows after the Civil Society had raised concerns following possible attacks between the armed groups. The Mbwavinywa residents have been fleeing to Kasiki due to the insecurity in the village. Meanwhile, a heightened security presence has been reported in Lubero.
