Fourteen suspected bandits were arrested in the town of Bukavu in South Kivu by the Bukavu Police on Tuesday, 08 March 2022. The suspects have been detained and accused of theft, murder, illegal possession of weapons and criminal association. During the apprehension, the Police had recovered a weapon, ammunition and military equipment. This comes after a joint operation launched by the Defense and Security Commission of the Provincial Assembly had been carried out in Bukavu and throughout the province.
