The Ministry of Public Works has announced that disaster management teams have been dispatched countrywide to assess the damages and emergency works following the heavy rains that have damaged several roads and bridges. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy has further issued a warning on rising river levels and has urged the public not to cross low-level bridges submerged by rising water and avoid flooded rivers. Meanwhile, authorities have stated that several rivers are experiencing rising water, such as Mkhondvo, Usuthu, Mbuluzi, Ngwavuma at Lubulini, Lusushwana from Ezulwini to Matsapha, and several others.
