The Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Takele Uma, has announced the establishment of new coal mining projects in Ethiopia’s southwest regions. He stated that the project site is located in the Dawro zone of the region. This follows after ET Mines Development, East Africa Holdings, in addition to six other companies receiving coal mining licenses to operate in the region.
