The Government has scheduled to hold its town hall meeting on Friday, 04 March 2022 at 13H00 to discuss the Electronic Transaction levy (E-levy) to the Volta Region at the Conference Hall at Freedom Hotel in Ho. This comes after four Townhall meetings held in the Western, Eastern, Northern and Upper West regional capitals. The Upper West Region has urged citizens on the need to support the implementation of the levy. However, a section of the populace has called for a reduction in the rate of 1.75% and held demonstrations.
