Mandera County Director of Education Abdi Sheikh has requested the increase of security in the expectance of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Examination (KCPE). Furthermore, Mandera county has 144 centres consisting of an estimated 6,337 examinees. Following the request, Government officials launched troops to all centres located in al-Shabaab and crime-prone areas.
