Protest reported in several towns across Kenya. Reports indicate that alleged Boda-Boda operators are protesting over the Police raid conducted on all operators after an incident over a sexual assault that occurred on Forest Road on Monday, 07 March 2022. Police have arrested operators and impounded their motorcycles since Tuesday, 08 March 2022. Demonstrators have obstructed traffic flow at a section of the Thika Superhighway at Githurai, as well as in areas around Kiambu and Kerugoya. Motorists are advised to use an alternative route. Police are on the scene.
