Deputy President William Ruto has embarked on a visit to Washington, District of Columbia (DC) following his United States of America (USA) tour today, 28 February 2022. Ruto will be received by the Kenya’s Ambassador to the United States, Lazarus Amayo. During his tour, Ruto is expected to collaborate on foreign policy, democracy and governance and share his interests for Kenya and Africa. The Head of International Relations in Ruto’s camp Ababu Namwamba, has stated that Ruto is also set to meet amoing others, officials of the State Department and the Pentagon as well as the US Government National Security Council (NSC). Ruto is also scheduled to address the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and at the University of Arizona’s Washington Entrepreneurship Hub.
