Three suspects have been arrested for alleged theft of Safricom’s internet and telecommunication infrastructure along the Ngina road on 24 February 2022. The suspects have been accused of contravening the Kenya Information and Communications Act of 1998. The arrest comes after Safaricom security personnel received information from members of the public that the suspects have been interfering with the company cables. The suspects have been detained by the Kabete Police officers and are expected to appear before the Kibera Law Courts on 10 March 2022.
