Protest reported in Nairobi near the Ministry of Transport. The Digital Taxi drivers under the Digital Taxi Forum (DTF) have embarked on a protest over the Cabinet Secretary (CS) of Transport’s failure to implement the Digital Hailing Service regulations (TNC Rules 2022), which had been passed by the Senate labour committee chaired by Senator Johnson Sakaja. The protest comes after DTF issued a seven days notice on 19 February 2022. Motorists are advised to use an alternative route. Police are aware of the situation.
