Kenya Airways has announced plans to launch a route network review programme that is expected to affect several routes in its current network. The carrier has stated that the network review is routine and is informed by the return to air travel as the aviation industry recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, several routes are expected to have frequency increment, frequency reduction, schedule changes, suspension and postponement of route opening. The review programme is also expected to affect local and international routes and will be adjusted as other countries relax travel restrictions. Changes include frequency increase for the London route throughout Winter from planned five times weekly to daily flights, among others.
