Authorities have announced that unidentified armed men have carried out an attack in the Juhudi community in Maragua on Sunday, 09 January 2022. The armed men had ambushed the community and sporadically opened fire at the residents, and killed two civilians. Reports indicate that several residences had been set alight and looted several items. The situation remains volatile. Security operatives have heightened their presence in the area.
