Alliance of Democrats Member of Parliament (MP) Kose Makoa and Mokhotlong MP Tefo Mapesela has filed a motion of no confidence against Prime Minister Moeketsi Majoro. Makoa has additionally recommended that All Basotho Convention (ABC) leader, Nkaku Kabi, be appointed to the position of Prime Minister instead. This follows after Lesotho’s ABC party withdrew as the leading party in the coalition Government during a recent dispute in Parliament. The ABC also recently announced the election of Nkaku Kabi as the party’s new leader.
