The Armed Forces in the southern Indian Ocean (FAZSOI) have been deployed to assist Madagascar following the damages caused by the recent tropical cyclones, Batsarai and Emnati. The FAZSOI will be assisting and donating emergency humanitarian logistical aid from the French Red Cross in the town of Mananjary. This will be conducted in cooperation with the National Office for Risk and Disatare Management of Madagascar (BNGRC), inlcuding an A400M Atlas from Orleans-Bricy air Base 123, with several FAZSOI stakeholders. The objective of the mission is to assist the communities between Ivato and Mananajary tha have been affected due to the cyclones.
