The state-owned utility company, Jirama, has announced a planned load reduction in several areas connected to the Antananarivo Interconnected Network (RIA). The company has also stated that the power outages will also affect water supply due to power-based power supply centres. This follows as technicians will be working on the reparation of the Andekaleka Hydroelectric station in Andekaleka.
