The Minister of Digital Development, Digital Transformation, Posts and Telecommunications (MDNPT), Tahina Razafindramalo, has announced the expected implementation of fibre optic cables in Antananarivo. The General Director of Operations and Extension of Information and Communication Technologies, Dera Andriatsarafara, has stated that the implementation of fibre optics is expected to improve the internet speeds and quality of the connection in public establishments. Furthermore, the fibre optics cables are expected to enhance the Government’s telecommunications network modernization project.
