The First Lady of Madagascar, Mialy Rajoelina, is expected in Manakara on Sunday, 06 March 2022, ahead of the World Women’s Day celebration. The celebration will take place for a duration of seven days, from 02 March 2022 until 08 March 2022. An official ceremony will be held at Manakara’s Manara-Penitra Stadium on 08 March 2022. Rajoelina is expected to preside over the ceremony, in which consultations and exhibitions are planned to take place during the ceremony. The ceremony will be under the theme of ‘equality today for a sustainable future and Women who struggle, face and fight each other, reflections of equal rights, gages of sustainable development’.
