Protest reported at the National Assembly gateway in the Central Business District. Associations of Women Movements have blocked the Federal Secretariat entrance of the National Assembly to protest the outcome of the voting on constitutional amendment. This comes as the National Assembly removed the Bills promoting women’s interest on Monday, 28 February 2022, during a voting session. Motorists are advised to use an alternative route. Police are on the scene.
