The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that the Governorship election in Ekiti State will be held on 18 June 2022. This move has been amended with Section 30 of the Electoral Act 2010. This comes as the tenure of the Sitting Governor is expected to terminate on 15 October 2022.
