Air traffic engineers under the aegis of the National Association of Air Traffic Engineers have issued a one-week ultimatum to the management of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), threatening to embark on industrial action over issues affecting the condition of service. This comes after the NAMA management had increased the emolument of air traffic controllers. The Managing Director of NAMA, Fola Akinkuotu, has stated that meetings had been held to resolve the issue. Meanwhile, the National Association of Air Traffic Engineers has demanded for Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel Professional Allowances and radiation allowance.
