The Plateau State House of Assembly has lifted the suspension on the expelled Speaker, Abok Nuhu Ayuba, and five other members of the house. The members of Parliament had been suspended by the House on 01 November 2021 following the plenary they convened at a community hall in Zawan, Jos South Local Goverment Area of the state. The House had stated that the sitting convened by the former Speaker as illegal and called for their suspension. The lifting of the suspension at plenary followed a motion moved by the House Deputy Majority Leader, Philip Wallok, at the plenary.
