Members of the Somalian Armed Forces (SAF) have defended their position from an Al-Shabaab attack in the Somalian Central Military headquarters on Tuesday, 01 March 2022. During the incident, approximately three suspects were fatally injured. The attack by Al-Shabaab has been launched after the Elite Danab Forces and US Africa Command launched airstrikes on the location of approximately 60 Al-Shabaab members. SAF members stated that three rifles had been confiscated and that a search operation has been launched to find the missing suspects.
