Police have arrested a scrap metal trader at a business premise in Makhanda today, 08 March 2022. The trader has been arrested for trading in illegal copper and for the possession of 120 kilograms of illegal copper. The Police responded to information received by an individual. The trader is expected to appear in Makhanda Magistrate’s Court on a charge of theft.
