The South African Federation of Trade Unions (SAFTU), General Industries Workers Union of South Africa (GIWUSA) and the Food and Allied Workers Union (FAWU) are expected to hold a meeting on Tuesday, 18 January 2022, to discuss details on how to proceed with the Clover strike. The unions, with members and supporters, are expected to hold a meeting on Wednesday, 19 January 2022, to discuss the program of action. A national and international day of action will be convened on Thursday, 25 January 2022. On this day, working-class members are expected to protest at stores stocking Clover products, Embassies and Clover related companies.
