The Police in Gauteng has arrested 14 illegal immigrants following an Operation O Kae Molao roadblock set from Zimbabwe to Gauteng. The illegal immigrants have alleged that the driver had been paid R1,500 to transport them to Johannesburg. The driver had also been arrested for bribery after offering the law enforcement officers an undisclosed amount. This follows after the Border Control Management in Mpumalanga intercepted 7,000 illegal immigrants attempting to travel into South Africa from Mozambique during the period of December 2021.
