Eskom has announced that stage two of load shedding will be implemented continuously until 05H00 on Saturday, 12 March 2022. Eskom stated that it has returned four generation units to service however, two units have been taken offline for repairs. Total breakdowns amount to 16 505 megawatts (MW), while planned maintenance is 5 5505 MW of capacity.
