The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) and Hawks have created a task force to address allegations of corruption from the State Capture Report. The NPA and the Hawks will review the commission’s findings and recommendations with a view to investigate and building cases for criminal prosecution. The NPA stated that it is expanding its resources with the National Treasury, Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) and the Solicitor General’s Office, and with the support of the Minister and the Director-General of Justice.
