The SACCA and NUMSA members handed over a memorandum of demands to Public Enterprises, calling on Minister Pravin Gordhan to intervene. SACCA President Zazi Nsibanyoni-Mugambi stated that the demands include fair recruitment processes and meal allowances for employees. The unions have dispersed outside the Department of Public Enterprises office. Motorists are advised to remain vigilant.
