The City of Tshwane announced that driving licencing testing centres (DLTCs) and motor vehicle registration offices remain closed due to the ongoing strike by the National Driving School Association of South Africa (NDSASA). Members of NDSASA have been protesting at various licencing centres throughout Gauteng since 24 February 2022, demanding that the online National Traffic Information Systems (NaTIS) be cancelled. The City is in the process of applying for a court interdict against the protesting NDSASA members to stop them from disrupting City operations. The DLTCs affected include Mabopane and Akasia, Temba, Centurion, Rayton, Waltloo and Bronkhorstspruit.
