Three felons have been arrested following the explosives that have been found by the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) at the Beitbridge border post. The felons have been escorted to the police station. Police Spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo reported that the Police uncovered six reels of detonating cords, 50 units of connector capped fuses and 65 units of blasting cartridges. Provincial Police Commissioner Lieutenant-General, Thembi Hadebe, stated that the explosives confiscated are expected to be used for automatic teller machine (ATM) robberies.
