Police have arrested three suspects at the Beitbridge border post for allegedly smuggling explosives. The suspects have been arrested this morning, 13 January 2022, as they crossed into South Africa from Zimbabwe. Members of the Musina Explosives Unit stated that the suspects were in possession of six reels of detonating cord, 50 units of connector fuses and at least 65 blasting cartridges. The suspects are expected to appear in the Magistrate’s Court soon.
