Students at Capricorn TVET college, Seshego campus, raised concerns that the college is delaying the payment of allowances from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS). It is alleged that the college is requesting students to submit supporting documents such as an affidavit and a signature of a parent on the declaration form before they can receive their allowances. The College Spokesperson, Madire Mashabela, stated that the college is within its rights to request the said documents in order to comply with NSFAS eligibility requirements.
