Two suspects have appeared before the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court today, 07 March 2022, for the illegal trade in narcotics. The suspects have been arrested by members of the Provincial Organized Crime Unit and the Provincial Detectives on Friday, 04 March 2022, after they have been found in possession of narcotics worth R4.2-million. Limpopo Police Spokesperson Motlafela Mojapelo stated that the Police are searching for another suspect that allegedly fled the scene during the search operation. Mojapelo stated that investigations indicate that the suppliers are in suburban areas like Bendor and Thornhill. The case has been postponed to 10 March 2022 for a formal bail application.
