The Mutale Magistrate’s Court has postponed the case of the Executive Mayor of Musina, Godrey Mawela, to Friday, 29 April 2022. Mawela has been charged with assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm. The charges follow after Mawela’s involvement in an altercation with Muswodi-Dipeni village on Saturday, 26 February 2022, with Carris Munzhelele.
