Premier Refilwe Mtsweni-Tsipane has announced that Municipality will name two construction projects after the late Mayor, Linah Malatjie. Mtsweni-Tsipane stated that it will ensure that Malatjie’s legacy lives on with the naming of the iconic projects. The Emalahleni Local Municipality must give full momentum to the accelerated service delivery programme that Malatjie championed. This programme will address the lack of proper infrastructure maintenance whilst removing the obstacles towards optimal service delivery. Mtsweni-Tsipane is expected to oversee the launch of a mall that will be named after Linah Malatjie, and upon completion of the construction of a hospital, it will be named the Linah Malatjie Academic Hospital.
