SOUTH AFRICA – WESTERN CAPE – CAPE TOWN – PROTEST 10 MAR 2022 (05:30)

Protest expected by the Cape Amalgamated Taxi Association (CATA) and the Congress of Democratic Taxi Associations (CODETA) women’s forum today, 10 March 2022, at the Office of the Premier from 10H00. The demonstrators are expected to protest against unfair taxi impoundment by traffic officers. The demonstrators are expected to hand over a memorandum of demands. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes. Police will be deployed to monitor the area.
