The Dodoma City Council (DCC) has announced the allocation of funds for the 2022/2023 financial years. The funds are expected to be used for various projects in addition to the construction of a new City Council Headquarters. Dodoma City Director Joseph Mafuru stated that the construction of the new City Council Headquarters in the Njedengwa area is expected to commence in July 2022. Mafuru further stated that the budget is expected to include three vehicles in addition to land surveying equipment. The budget is set to include the provision of loans to 49 groups and to fund the completion of Dodoma City Hotel. The budget is set to focus on the completion of projects, contributing to the strength of the people, building productive development projects, and strengthening service delivery.
