The President of Zanzibar, Dr Hussein Ali Mwinyi, has announced the reorganising of Zanzibar cabinet members. President Mwinyi has reported that, during the reorganisation, four new Ministers and several new Deputy Ministers are being appointed. Masoud Ali Mohammed is the new appointed Minister of State, Office of the President Regional Administration, Local Government and Special Departments of SMZ. Haroun Ali Suleiman is expected to be appointed Minister of State, Office of the President, Constitution, Law, Personnel and Good Governance. Mudrik Ramadhan Soraga has been named Minister of State, Office of the President, Labor, Economy and Investment. Dr Saada Mkuya is reported to be the new Minister of State, Office of the President, Finance and Planning. Hamza Hassan Juma has been named Minister of State, Office of the Second Vice President in charge of Policy, Coordination and House of Representatives. Simai Mohammed Said has been named Minister of Tourism and Antiquities replacing Lela Muhamed Mussa, who has been named Minister of Education and Vocational Training. Furthermore, Dr Khalid Salum Mohamed has been appointed Minister of Works, Communications and Transport. Shamata Shaame Khamis is named the new Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, Natural Resources and Livestock. Tabia Maulid Mwita is the Minister of Information, Youth, Culture and Sports. Rahma Kassim Ali has been named the new Minister of Lands and Housing Development. Nassor Ahmed Mazrui ow has been named Minister of Health regarding the separation of Minister for Health, Social Welfare, the Elderly, Gender and Children. Following the separation, Riziki Pembe Juma has been named the new Ministry of Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children. Omar Said Shaaban becomes Minister of Trade and Industry Development, whereas Shaib Hassan Kaduara becomes minister of water, energy and minerals.
