The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has announced plans to undertake various processes as part of electoral reforms between 2022 and 2026. ECZ Chairperson Esau Chuulu has stated that the electoral body intends to evaluate the development of modalities for electronic voting and capture the diaspora vote in the 2026 general elections. Justice Chuulu has stated that the Commission is expected to implement continuous voter registration across the country to capture additional eligible voters. The ECZ Chairperson has noted that the Commission intends to initiate the delimitation exercise within the following five years.
