The Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) has announced the death of four of its staff members from a road accident that occurred on Thursday, 24 February 2022, near Regina Coeli Mission along the Nyanga-Ruwangwe Road. The deceased was a part of an Office Team delivering goods for the less privileged in the Ruwangwe Community under the First Lady’s Community Assistance and Empowerment Programme. The four staff members died on the scene after a State Residences truck overturned, while two officers sustained injuries and were transferred to the Regina Coeli Mission Hospital. The OPC has launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
