The Masvingo Police Detectives have caught six armed suspects between the Harare-Masvingo road on Tuesday, 01 March 2022. The CID received confirmation that the suspects travelled in a Silver Toyota Wish in their escape after stealing gold from Artisanal miners. Following the information, the CID engaged the suspects in their vehicles and captured six out of a suspected eight-member gang. The CID apprehended the suspects after colliding with a haulage truck driving towards Masvingo.
